Driving Goods Vehicles Level

The Driving Goods Vehicle Apprenticeship covers:

  • Health and Safety in the transport industry eg vehicle checks, PPE and safe working practices
  • Safe Loading and unloading.
  • SAFED – Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving.
  • Planning the route and timings of deliveries.
  • Preparing the van for driving.
  • Protecting the van and the load 2.
  • Operating and monitoring the van systems 3.
  • Manoeuvring the van in restricted spaces.Learners will also complete functional skills Level 1 certificates in English and Maths if they have not previously acheved them.

Learners will also learn about Employee Rights and Responsibilities.

Customer Service Level 2

The Customer Service Apprenticeship covers:

  • Health and Safety in the workplace
  • How to deliver customer service
  • Understanding customers needs
  • Principles of customer service
  • Understanding employer organisations
  • Managing personal performance and development

Learners will also complete functional skills Level 1 certificates in English and Maths if they have not previously acheved them.

Learners will also learn about Employee Rights and Responsibilities.

Business Administration

The Business Administration Apprenticeship covers:-

  • Communications in a business environment
  • Principles of providing administrative services
  • Principles of business document production and information management
  • Understanding employer organisations
  • Managing personal performance and development
  • Developing working relationships with colleagues

Learners will also complete functional skills Level 1 certificates in English and Maths if they have not previously acheved them.
Learners will also learn about Employee Rights and Responsibilities.

The Management Apprenticeship covers:-

  • Principles of Management and Leadership
  • Strategic Business Management and Planning
  • Develop and Evaluate Operational Plans for own Area of Responsibility
  • Provide Leadership and Direction for own Area of Responsibility
  • Plan Change in own Area of Responsibility
  • Work Productively with Colleagues and Stakeholders

Learners will also learn about Employee Rights and Responsibilities.
